Christmas Tour of Homes

I am new to the blogging world and got this idea from a very special friend's blog..
The Christmas Tour of Homes. We just completed a cross country move from Seattle back home to Texas...Thanksgiving weekend. I'm pretty proud of the fact that I actually got the house decorated. So come on in...
Front door..my father in law made the beautiful Santa for me one year for Christmas. One of my favorite decorations to put out each year!!
Entry table
Dining room table
I love my green feather trees from Target..great buy

Dining room/Christopher Radko tree: I have a 22 month old little guy, so naturally all of my treasured ornaments are at the top. China hutch with our Christmas dishes

Couldn't leave the hutch bare on top!! Brooks points up to it and says, "deeeerrr"..so sweet

Cute arrangement on the kitchen table

Adorable painting that J did for me a several years ago..she is so talented. Brooks points to him and says, "Ho Ho Ho".

Kitchen counter

Santa on the chopping block...ha ha..can you tell it's late and I've had an active day with Brooks??

Another of my favorite's...mom gave this to me right after we got married.

~O' Christmas Tree~

I love to walk into the room and just smell.

I've started a Santa collection and think they are so cute. We have way to many Christmas decorations, and I'm sure my hubby wishes I would quit "collecting".

My little village..it's beautiful at night with the living room lights turned off.

Finally, our powder bath..couldn't have that room not be festive too.

I put up three trees, but didn't get a picture of the one in B's room before he went to sleep. I'll try to post that tomorrow. Hope you enjoyed visiting our happy little home. Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas!!

Brooks 1st trip to the zoo

Brooks and Drew admiring the gorilla
I thought this pic was funny..it's like he's thinking about whether to eat the asparagus or not

We had a very fun morning at the Seattle zoo with Drew and Amy back in October. Brooks really loved seeing all of the animals. I can't wait to go visit the Tyler zoo next.

Saying goodbye to our NW buddies

Brooks last time at Gymboree with Will & Drew
Drew and his mom Amy

Jen with Brooks and Drew
Jeremy, Jen, and Will
Moving van..bittersweet!!
Yummy farewell dinner at PF Changs
John & Emma, Erik & Michele, H & B, Kurt & Sarah
*Kurt and Sarah got engaged Thanksgiving weekend in Central Park..how romantic Kurt!*
Our last night in SEA..dinner at The Met...yum o!!
Final destination, our new home in Tyler, Tx.

The pictures from Gymboree were at the end of October with Brooks' first friends Drew and Will. Bryan and I flew back to SEA the middle of November to pack up and head south. We also said goodbye to the wonderful friends we made while living there. *Bryan and I spent almost 3 yearsin Mill Creek, WA and believe when we look back 20 years from now it will be one of the best decisions we made. Living so far from home, our friends were like family to us and we deeply treasure the bonds we created.* Jen and Jeremy made fondue for us one night at their house, which was so good.(I didn't get a pic that night so I added an old one of them) The next night we went to dinner with our friends from the neighborhood, at PF Changs. Michele made creme brulee after dinner..thanks M!! After the moving van pulled away, Bryan and I headed downtown SEA to stay at the W Hotel and had a great dinner at the Metropolitan Grill. We had so much fun with everybody, but it was so sad too leave. There will be many trips made back to the Pacific NW by the Boyer's.

Playing at BaBa & Poppa's house

Brooks is back in Texas and already wearing a cowboy hat

Our little climber

Driving Poppa's truck
Jaxon fussing at me for taking to many pics of Brooks!!
We lived at my parents house the entire month of November in Atlanta, Tx. Bryan started his new job November 5th with Allied Waste as the district manager of East Texas. Since we weren't moving into our new home in Tyler until Thanksgiving weekend we stayed at home while B traveled. It was fun to be there in the country where Brooks could play outside and do lots of fun boy stuff.

The cutest shark ever

Brooks and "Cowboy" Duncan
We spent this Halloween at my parents in Atlanta. We went to the Trunk or Treat at the FUMC with Holly, Ryon, and Duncan Kelton. It was a lot of fun..Brooks ran everywhere and didn't care one bit about getting candy from the church members. I thought the pictures with Duncan were so sweet. There was a bouncy castle for the little ones and B decided he was going to be brave, marched right up to it and let the man in charge take off his shoes, then when it was time to get in Brooks held his feet up and refused to let the man put him down...wasn't so brave after all!! :)

Wedding Part 3: Details

Could he be any cuter?? Or more boy..he's already filthy!!
After Brooksie went to bed...a break!!
My sweet parents, aren't they a cute couple?
Entry table
Beautiful!!
In the courtyard, right above where the ceremony took place.
I love my little ring bearer.

Main tree in the courtyard..we put up the lanterns and hung the pearl letters on Friday.

Programs and ribbon wands we waved as they were leaving
Baskets of coffee the guests took home as favors

Tonya put so much thought into every detail and the wedding was just enchanting. They honeymooned in St Barts and had a fabulous time!!
