Highschool Girlfriends, Seattle, & The Pumpkin Patch

Girls Weekend:

Jodi, Linda, Flo, and I

The last weekend in September, my high school girlfriends(minus a few) and I got together in Dallas for some fun girl time. We stayed at a fabulous hotel, The Stoneleigh, shopped, went out to eat, and just played catch up. It was such a blast!! We hadn't seen each other in a few years and definitely made up for lost time. I grew up in a small town and these girls played such a big part in my life. I will cherish them always and can't wait to do it again next September. We missed you, Holly, Lindsey, & Tammy!!!

October trip to Seattle:

Several weeks later, I flew back to visit friends. This precious little girl, Molly Sofia, was waiting for me to shower with kisses when I arrived.

And this amazing little boy, Will, picked up with me like I'd seen him the week before. Will was Brooks' first friend and we spent lots of time together while living in Seattle. Brooks misses him so much and we look forward to our next visit.

Myself, Jen(Will & Molly's mommy), & Michele(our next-door neighbor in Seattle)

Dinner at PF Changs with girlfriends, doesn't get much better than that!! I didn't get any pics of M's kidos, their hubbies, or our Bunko group. Too much catching up and not enough picture taking. Thanks for a great weekend J & M and for all of the hospitality!! I had a great weekend and can't wait to go back.

Trip to the Pumpkin Patch with Holly & Duncan:
We get together with them once a month for a play date. October included a trip to the pumpkin patch, lunch at Double Dave's pizza, and play-time at our house.

My little punkin...

Holly and Duncan on the hay ride

Brooks and I on the hay ride...I think he woke up on the wrong side of the bed that day. No smiles!!

Cute boys and sweet friends...
Duncan's mommy and I have been friends since we were little girls. I love that we both had boys first who enjoy playing together.

Sous-chef in the making...this was taken the week he learned about occupations at school. Hopefully, he will enjoy cooking just like I do.

You are such a busy girl! I love the picture of Brooks in the chef's hat. Give your sweet boy birthday hugs from me!
